OPTIMUM

OPTIMUM is an international project focused on supporting innovative projects for engineering, control and supervision of intelligent manufacturing and material handling. It is aligned with European, national and international initiatives towards digital manufacturing, closely related to ongoing activities around the German Initiative Industry 4.0.

The main objectives of OPTIMUM are: to improve the aspects of distributed control, the adaptation of IoT technologies to real industrial needs, the improvement of control and applications through context and location, as well as the design of applications, 3D engineering and supervision based on common models. In this context, SOTEC contribution is embedded in two aspects: Security in the IoT and Interoperability in the Production Cyber-Physical Systems.

OPTIMUM is more a bet of our R+D+i department that seeks to innovate on behalf of our clients and increase the competitiveness of the Spanish business fabric. It will be developed during the years 2018, 2019 and 2020 in our Spanish headquarters at Paseo de la Castellana 121, Madrid, with a budget of 809.105€ co-financed by the CDTI with FEDER funds.

OIGO

Social Media-Aware Intelligent Government Accountability Platform born to respond to the need of citizens to have sufficiently reliable tools to control the actions of public authorities. “OIGO” will be a digital journalism/activism platform that hopes to become a relevant catalyst of different initiatives as well as becoming a meeting point where citizens can collaborate for a common goal.

Its fundamental objective is the analysis, design and prototyping of a social e-democracy platform.

OIGO is one of the initiatives of our R+D+i Business Unit, co-financed by the Ministry of Industry, Energy, Tourism and Digital Agenda (MINETAD) within the National Plan for Scientific Research, development and Technological Innovation 2013-2016 - AEESD Program (Strategic Action Economy and Digital Society) – with TSI number 100107-2015-21.

PreMyTECD

Prevention, Monitoring and Treatment of Chronic Degenerative Diseases is an international collaboration project that seeks the development of an intelligent and collaborative global platform for the self-management of health in chronic diseases. The objective of the system is to provide patients with first-hand medical service and control, using information provided by the patient and other information that comes from different sources, in which the reliability of the information provided to the user, is evaluated in an intelligent way. More specifically, the aim is to develop a platform that allows intelligent self-management of health by the patients themselves and by different health care service providers.

The use of Semantic Web Technologies, Natural Language Processing, Information and Knowledge Integration, Linked Data, Business Intelligence and Data Mining, will support the entire platform and facilitate certain tasks of monitoring, alert management and recommendation.

PreMyTECD is more a bet of our R+D+i department in collaboration with the Mexican entities and co-financed by the CDTI that is developed during the years 2016, 2017 and 2018.

SECUREGRID

SECUREGRID Security, Fraud Detection and Coding for Intelligent Network Based on Artificial Intelligence is an international collaboration project focused on securing the Smart Grid, a very high density communications network that allows to control and guide the network through observation. of the generation and distribution of electricity flow. A high density communication network will generate a large amount of data that must be processed and analyzed to make the best possible use of the underlying information.

The main objective of the SECUREGRID project is to make the network more secure and less vulnerable to possible attacks by creating an intelligent system that analyzes the data of the Smart Grid and enables the early and automatic detection of such attacks. This project seeks to revolutionize the logical security in Smart Grids by creating a layer of Cybersecurity. SECUREGRID is more a bet of our R+D+i department in collaboration with companies in Spain and Turkey, and that is developed during the years of 2017, 2018 and 2019. The project is co-financed by the CDTI and has the international seal - ITEA3.
